One of the many things we do to support and strengthen our relationships with clients is hosting them for a Strategy Day at our headquarters. This full-day session is focused on specific client needs, whether it is developing a BI strategy, demonstrating new technologies, or providing strategic options for leveraging an existing investment.
Armored AutoGroup (AAG), a major auto-care products company comprised of the Armor All, STP, and other brands, recently participated in a Strategy Day at Chateaux to get a better understanding of their options for developing an analytics and big data strategy.
After establishing a roadmap for better utilizing their existing SAP investment, including building out their data warehouse and developing key management reports, AAG was ready to take their BI strategy to the next level. They were interested in learning more about what BI tools are available to them and which would fit best with the current architecture and strategies they had in place. Chateaux Senior BI Architects and Technologists gave demonstrations and presentations on various technologies throughout the day based on Chateaux’s experience working with the client. Ample time was allowed for client questions, discussions, and interaction during the demonstrations, further guiding the conversation to their specific interests.
Chateaux specialties covered during the Strategy Day included an overview of SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.0 Dashboards, Mobility, and Lumira; reasons to consider SAP HANA; and an interactive Live Office demo. Chateaux also shared expertise on Microsoft SharePoint including document management, workflow management, and SharePoint integrations, as well as an in-depth discussion on cloud computing and Big Data, BI strategy and planning, and becoming an Analytics Ready Organization℠.
