booth at cio summit After weeks of preparation, Chateaux returned to the 2014 Greenwich CIO Executive Leadership Summit as a Platinum Sponsor. This event is designed exclusively for CIO/IT leaders who want to further their knowledge around IT transformation, innovation and change; who want to build a significant network of business relationships with other IT leaders; and who want to gain the latest insights and best practices for driving increased business value through the use of information technology.

The day began with a fantastic executive interview on security with Whitefield Diffle, Father of Modern Crytography, and Shawn Henry, President, CrowdStrike Services. They were interviewed by Greg Fell, Chief Strategy Officer, Crispy. The discussion centered around how important security is and provided some practical steps to help keep your company secure in today’s world.

Rob Phillips, Director of Solution Strategy, ServiceNow, followed up with a keynote on “How Enterprise Service Management Will Impact the Future of IT”. He explained how evolving the IT service model to other lines of business can change how work gets done in the enterprise.

The speakers were able to share actionable advice on how to bring a competitive advantage to organizations and how the world of technology is evolving.

Some of the additional topics that were covered include: Transformational Leadership, Innovation and Growth Strategies, Creating and Maintaining Trust and Relationships with CXOs, The Cloud, Social Enterprise, Mobile Workforce, Security, and Business Analytics. It closed with a very entertaining executive keynote, “Disruptive Tech: The Unrecognizable New World of Tech and Culture” by David Pogue, Founder-Yahoo Tech, Columnist, TV Host and Correspondent, and Author, who fired up his electric piano and sang the crowd into hysterics all while explaining how the tech of our world is changing faster and faster and the effects it is having on the society and culture we once knew.

ken and tyler at cio summitThe Chateaux booth brought lots of attention as it featured the newest addition to our team, the Chateaux Cube. This custom built PC was built with clear acrylic, so every internal component is visible. In addition, we’ve added custom lighting and a little Halloween flare to help kick off the fall season. Almost everyone came over to test out the cube, having a little fun while learning more about what we do.

Overall the event met the goal that HMG strived for, “to ensure that every attendee leaves this event filled with insight, new ideas, and better prepared for the future.”
