In order to maintain his dedication to his six-day-a-week training schedule, Mark frequently turns his lunch hour into a workout hour. This athleticism has inspired many of the Chateaux staff, including Senior Account Executive, Alex Suzuki, who recently competed with Mark in the Shamrock Stroll 5k in Stamford, CT.
Growing up, Mark participated in cross country and rowed for the crew team in college, but didn’t pick up the sport of triathlon until a few years ago. Once he started, he was hooked and has participated in various Olympic triathlon and marathon events each season.
Although he knew it would be a huge undertaking to get fit for a race of this caliber on top of balancing his career and family time, Mark enjoys the challenge. “I’m hoping this will ultimately make me a better person both mentally, physically and spiritually. I also hope to inspire others to get involved with the sport of triathlon. The Revolution3 challenge will be my Mount Everest climb opportunity for 2013, no question about it.”
