It is always difficult trying to come up with fresh ideas to bring to trade shows, so this year at the Greenwich CIO Summit we are bringing along what we like to call the “Chateaux Cube”, a PC custom built by the team here at Chateaux. This PC was built with clear acrylic, so every internal component is visible. In addition, we’ve added custom lighting and a little Halloween flare to help kick off the fall season. Come see us at the Greenwich CIO Summit and test out the Chateaux Cube!

The case of the cube is called the Bob Slay V2. The entire case is made of clear acrylic and must be assembled piece by piece prior to adding any components. It features two different shelves for components, the top one holding the motherboard to maximize airflow throughout the case and also show off the components. Th
ere is sturdy aluminum shield for the I/O ports and the case also has five 120mm fan ports and two 5.25” bays for CD drives or other devices. To top it all off, there is a chrome handle for carrying the case and minimizing finger prints on the acrylic.
One of the other unique components is the power supply unit. It has a clear acrylic cover, exposing the internal components of the PSU. The PSU also has three different lighting modes (blue, green, and red) which can be toggled with a switch in the back.
Here are some of the other components included in the cube:
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Pro4
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX750
CPU: Intel Core i5-4430 Haswell Quad-Core 3.0GHz
RAM: HyperX Fury Series 8GB DDR3 1600
PSU: Apevia Iceberg 680W
