Alex Suzuki, Senior Account Executive, and Mark Montanaro, SVP, Resource Services Division, raced in The Reservoir Run Half Marathon in Weston, CT, on Sunday, October 27, 2013. The scenic course looped around the town of Weston, passing by the Saugatuck Reservoir, Devil’s Den Nature Preserve, the Morehouse Farm Park, and Trout Brook Valley Preserve.

Montanaro was coming off of a knee injury which prevented him from continuing training for the Ironman race in September; however, after a brief recovery period he jumped back into training and finished in the top third of runners in the half marathon. “It felt great to get back out there. The course had a few tricky hills but I was able to push through to the end and was happy to be racing again!” commented Montanaro.

Suzuki, an avid runner, also finished in the top third with a personal record time of 1:37:30. Suzuki hopes to participate in more local races and may even enter in a full distance marathon in 2014.

“Their enthusiasm and dedication is an inspiration to the rest of us in the office. The two make a dynamic team, both on the track and on the job,” said Emily Denaro, Chateaux Office Manager. In business development and resource services, Suzuki and Montanaro serve in key client-facing roles and help to maintain valuable relationships with our customers.
