Chateaux recently completed a transformative BI strategy and implementation project for a global auto-care products company. The client was going through a challenging transition period after splitting from their parent company and needed a coherent strategy to start the implementation process for business intelligence, reporting, and analytics. With Chateaux’s growing Enterprise Strategy and Architecture practice, led by Senior Enterprise Architect Don Floyd, Chateaux was able to offer lean enterprise architecture and strategy services, as well as scale the size, scope, and resource plan to the client’s needs.
Upon completion of the strategic phase, the client held a contest internally to name the project and selected Chateaux’s suggestion of “Project SHINE” as the winner! Short for Strategic Holistic Information Now Enabled, the name encompasses the true value of the solution. The facilitated working sessions approach used for Project SHINE involved more than just regurgitating back what the client had told us. “We know the importance of putting forward tangible, pragmatic suggestions that the client can react to and critique. This method helped us to create a holistic view of the client’s business situation and allowed them to move forward with full confidence in their BI solution,” stated Floyd.
