Chateaux’s responsive web redesign has streamlined the entire process of content publishing and analytics tracking so Public Power can now focus on what matters most: their customers.

With over 200,000 individuals and businesses as their customers, Public Power needed to be able to enroll new customers as well as manage existing customers’ accounts online.

Our responsive redesign of the Public Power site has streamlined the entire process of content publishing and analytics tracking. Public Power can now focus on what matters most: their customers.
The Challenge
New campaigns and monthly changes
Public Power launches new campaigns each month to capitalize on national and state based regulatory changes as well as new market entry into deregulated states. The effectiveness of these campaigns in acquiring and retaining customers is highly dependent on providing a seamless and intuitive experience regardless of device.
The Approach
Creating a responsive design
Using responsive design methodologies, the team at Chateaux built custom widgets to accept enrollments, view, and pay bills. These widgets were implemented within the Sitefinity Content Management System (CMS) along with custom templates to be used during campaigns. Existing views of the Public Power site were redesigned to be mobile friendly across all devices.
We configured the CMS so that business users now have the capability to modify specific areas of the website without technical knowledge, enabling business users and content creators to completely manage existing and new campaigns.
In addition, we integrated advanced analytics and reporting. This data is used in traffic optimization and to improve the overall customer experience.
The Result
Seamless experience across any device
Public Power is now able to launch new campaigns rapidly with little IT involvement. Business users can modify the necessary items through Sitefinity’s user-friendly interface to create unique offerings and engage their customers.
Visitors to the Public Power site now have a near equal experience no matter the device they are on and are able to enroll and manage their accounts.
