Once again, the world faced another unique year of Covid-19 acclimation. Yet Chateaux continued to persevere with their award-winning global team! Here are our highlights from 2021!

A year to be recognized

Fairfield County Business Journal named our Director of Enterprise Applications, Vijay Rathna, a 40 Under Forty winner for 2021. After a thorough vetting process, a panel of leaders selected Vijay as one of the honorees, amongst other outstanding executives from businesses in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

And for a second year in a row, Chateaux was nominated for a Sitefinity Website of the Year award, an honor that recognizes innovative websites that leverage the power, features, and capabilities of Progress Sitefinity to create outstanding user experience. This year, the nomination fell in the insurance category for our ecommerce work for Homeowner Safety Valve, a leading provider of water and sewer line protection plans to over 100 communities in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. Our digital transformation and data management teams worked together to convert Homeowner Safety Valve’s safetyvalveplans.com from an information-only website to a self-service ecommerce website built with Sitefinity. Chateaux outfitted the new site with a redesigned account management and enrollment process system, allowing customers to complete their purchasing journey and manage their plans online. The new CRM integration gives business users deeper analytics, cleaner data, and mechanisms to encourage customer growth.

Advisory Board Expansion

We appointed Carter Ahl as the newest member of Chateaux’s longstanding advisory board. Ahl brings over 25 years of leadership in growth and transformation within the healthcare sector. Ahl’s primary initiatives focus on helping hospital systems and healthcare organizations deliver better patient care, often using technology services and solutions for transformative change.

Chateaux in the wild!

While the team is still working remotely, vaccinations and lower transmission rates allowed some in-person, outdoor networking to happen this year! Over the summer, Chateaux’s resident golfer and SVP, Mark Montanaro, hit the green to support the 22nd Annual Claire C. Bennitt Watershed Fund Golf Tournament presented by our water utility client Regional Water Authority. In autumn, CEO Ken Zimmerman hosted two networking events through Fairfield Westchester Society for Information Management to foster collaboration and camaraderie with technology industry peers. Featured guests included Top Dog Food & Supply’s Richard Gordon and Clippn’s Mick Reed.

Remote teams working together

We have long worked with various teams across the globe to provide topnotch service, but this year solidified our remote work prowess. Using cloud technology and virtual communication tools like MS Teams, we completed deliverables from offices worldwide, including from the comfort of our own homes. And our Podshore team gained over 20 new members showing excellent growth to meet the demands of new clients!

Project Achievements

The global team of Chateaux developers, project managers, designers and analysts contributed to the success of a variety of exciting projects this year! Check out some of our case studies below:
