A leading services provider wanted to help their customers deliver high-quality health care by reducing costs, streamlining processes, and improving the quality of care and patient safety.

As an existing SAP BusinessObjects customer, the client was satisfied with the utilizing their software investment externally, however they needed to implement a new analytics application for internal use. The organization struggled to understand how to utilize the tool in order to effectively track business strategy across disparate business units. The solution: employ a scorecard methodology to resolve the issue.

Chateaux was asked to perform an analysis of business needs and define how to effectively quantify the recent BusinessObjects investment. Each business unit brought its own set of objectives and measurements so the company turned to Chateaux to create a plan to standard data across the enterprise and build an infrastructure to support the company’s overall growth strategies.

Using a 30-Day Quick Start, Chateaux met with key executives to perform an analysis of the client’s business strategy and to discuss which analytics needed to be incorporated into their applications.

Individual components of Business Objects were utilized to explore organizational leads, enabling them to understand and determine which benchmarks were most applicable to their applications and to support the data sources needed for integration into the application for tracking purposes. Chateaux helped the company define a project plan and advised them on the appropriate objectives in order to realize their business strategy goals.

Chateaux also mentored client leads, enabling them to decide which data to track and which visualizations were the most applicable. Standard product training defined how to use the application, but Chateaux was able to provide deeper insight into selecting the best analytics for corporate benchmarks.

Chateaux also set up extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes in order to transition data from disparate sources so that it could be processed more efficiently.

After Chateaux trained critical personnel on using the tools to improve their bottom line, the client was given a roadmap to succeed.
